Fraternity
Saint Angèle of Foligno
Peace and Joy.
As in the http://fraternitedesermites2005.com site I give you
the details of the fraternity of the hermits but also of me,
I grew good to change this page and to put you instead the different
passages of the document of Saint François on the life
of the hermits and how lived it to him and counseled us to live
it also.
Life Franciscan érémitique is very different from
the Carthusians and Benedictines, it is rather more free, more
accessible and more modern, because today it is necessary to
live in the world while being out of the world, as said Saint
François transporting "us our cell or our hermitage
with us. »
Life Franciscan érémitique is rather a part of
contemplation and action that is pourqoui a lot of bishops and
cardinals have more the difficulty to us dedicated by public
vœux because they cannot see the difference between the
other communities said "contemplative or worshipper and
to move away the world"
Life Franciscan érémitique asks us to be in the
world because one respects the right cannon 603 that asks us
to work and not to depend on a religious community to make live
us, what the other old communities of life make érémitique
as the Carthusians and the Benedictines.
Life Franciscan érémitique asks us to be craftsmen
of peace and to welcome the people who come to sound to our
door to have a spiritual advice, and in the Franciscan life
or can live it only or with 2 or 4 people who will exchange
the role of Marie and Marthe by turns.
Life Franciscan érémitique asks us to be under
the obedience of our bishop of the place but doesn't connect
us to it, therefore, if this one doesn't answer our demand one
is free to stay under his/her/its authority or to go elsewhere
or one will be welcomed better and or one can live our consecration
and can recognize like such, Saint François was very
fattening pond on dawns himself, unfortunately much people to
see the hermits Franciscans badly because they don't go back
in the setting of the Carthusian and Benedictine. They don't
understand our good mood and our joie de vivre, our retired
life of the world while being in the world by our place lodging
that often is in full center city.
Life Franciscan érémitique is people social, happy,
free because they must provide to their need, therefore, some
' a lives in wood, but most in the city or in villages, and
they are of Christ's witnesses who is not afraid to affirm itself/themselves
and to carry an outside sign that the identified like hermit.
Life Franciscan érémitique asks us to ask the
day constantly as much that the night, to make of the times
of prayer, the daily Mass, the spiritual reading, meditation,.
Here is why I decided to change this page to make you better
live this Franciscan spirituality, you will have a part of it
here and the other will be on the new http://MonDieuEtMonTout.com
site from the tie 211 and following.
Thank you and good reading Mrs. Denise Christiaenssens o.f.s.

The
definition of the Érémitisme word, hermit, hermitage
(of Greek, erèmos, forsaken, lone place.)
To pull the Théo dictionary. New Catholic encyclopedia,
Edition Droguet-Ardant/Fayard 1989 page 1055
|
| The
hermit chooses to live in the solitude. The first hermit is
holy Antoine (toward 250-350) that settles in the desert of
High Egypt (region of Thebes, named Thébaïde). The
solitude in a desert place corresponds to a will of spoliation,
back on oneself, of penitence with regard to his/her/its own
mistakes and those of others, to a will to fight against the
temptations, and finally in search of the conditions most favorable
to the meeting with God, the Christ often retired in the desert,
to pray.
The hermit shares his life between the prayer, the meditation
and work. Since the first centuries of Christianity, one lives
to appear a shape of life also semi - érémitique
when some disciples established their hermitage close to a main
spiritual. One finds some today of the examples in the Egyptian
desert in Sceté, or in Greece in the Mount Athos, or
in the proximity of some abbeys of western Europe. The life
of the Carthusians proceeds from the same mind. |

Earth of spoliation out of the forgeries - semblance, the desert
remained the setting auspicious to the return on oneself, to
the discovery of his/her/its poverty and God's grant, to the
conversion (Bone 2,160); "Élie, John the Baptist,
Jesus himself, came to take spiritual strength or s,y there
to prepare to their mission
In the first centuries of Christianity the head è head
with God, favored by the desert, made come the first hermits
in the solitudes of Egypt, of Palestine, of Syria,; he/it developed
of it an ideal, érémitique that had his/her/its
heroes, the "Fathers of the Desert" (such Antoine
saint), popularized in Orient and in West by a whole devout
literature: the ideal of the desert was the source of a big
monastic movement that it didn't stop marking the life of the
church anymore.
The symbolism of the desert keeps today all his/her/its vigor
in the church: she/it compares herself/itself gladly to the
Hebrew people in walk through the arid earths toward the Promised
Earth, finding his/her/its strength in the water of the mind
that springs of the Christ's rock, in the bread eucharistique
that the one - dispenses to him here as the manna.

Stylite
(of the Greek stulos, column). The hermits stylites withdrew from
the world while settling to the summit of a porch or a column
to force itself/themselves again to one life more uncomfortable
and to a more absolute renouncement. There, they asked God and
they exhorted the numerous visitors that their holiness attracted.
This practice, that remained essentially oriental, had like initiator
holy Siméon the old (V e century). |

Saint Claire of foundation
The blessing of Claire saint |
|
One possesses three "blessings of "Claire
saint. All three are practically identical, except for
the beginning that specifies the recipients, and for
the end where is a light variant.
The most former known text is in German: it is the blessing
in Agnès of Prague. Another text, in Latin, is
the blessing in Ermentrude of Bruges. A third, also
in Latin, is the blessing all sisters'. He/it is very
possible that Claire took, to the intention of all his/her/its
monasteries, before dying, a formula that she had already
used individually for such or such of his/her/its correspondents.
One reads, in his/her/its Life by Thomas of Celano:
"She/it blesses all brothers and the sisters, and
implored for all superior of the Poor Ladies, present
or to come, the grace of the most abundant blessings"
(#45).
One will notice the parallel with François saint:
so much in the fact of the adieu blessing, that in the
use of the biblical formula of the Book of the Numbers,
formula used by François saint for brother Léon.
Here is the text of blessing of Claire saint to all
his/her/its sisters.
In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy spirit.
Amen.
That our Lord blessed you and keep you;
that he/it discovers you his/her/its face and takes
you in mercy;
that he/it turns toward you his/her/its face and give
you the peace,
to you my sisters and my daughters,
to all those that will come after you
and that will remain in our company,
and to all others that will persevere in all our Order,
until the end, in this holy poverty.
Me, Claire, maid of the Christ and small plant of our
Father holy François, me that am, although unworthy,
your sister and your mother, and the sister and the
mother of all other Poor Ladies, I ask our Lord Jesus
Christ, by his/her/its mercy, by the intercession of
his/her/its holy Mother Marie, of saint Michel archangel
and of all holy angels of God and all holy and holy
of God:
that the Father of the heaven achieves and confirm for
you, to the sky and on the earth, this very holy blessing,;
on the earth, while making you grow in grace and in
virtues among his/her/its servants and maids of the
militant Christendom:
to the sky, in you there welcoming in his/her/its glory
with the saints and the saints of the triumphant Christendom.
I bless you as much as I then the and more that me the
then, now during my life and then after my death, of
all blessings that the Father of mercies conferred and
will confer to the sky and on the earth to his/her/its
sons and to his/her/its daughters in the mind, and of
all blessings that a spiritual Father or a spiritual
mother could confer to their spiritual children and
will confer to them again.
Stay always God's friends, the friends of your souls
and all your sisters, and be always attentively faithful
to the promises that you made to the Lord.
That the Lord is always with you, and can be you, you
also, always with it! Amen. |
