What spectacle! Jesus, the body plowed by the flogging, the fallen eyes, the hands bound behind the back, listen to in silence his/her/its stop of death, but he doesn't hear again every day of as cruel sentences? Us sins don't condemn them Jesus to the death? When will the hour come therefore to repair so many outrages? Here it, my brothers, is with the hour of the exercise of the Path of the Cross. Let's follow Jesus, with devotion, the contrite heart. We will satisfy to the divine justice and we will get forgiveness. Yes, let's implore Jesus, in the name of his/her/its sentence of death, not to let the temporal death become for us the beginning of an eternal death,

Second Station: Jesus is put in charge of the cross

Who would not shiver of terror at the sight of this cross? One charges it on the Savior's shoulders. Jesus accepts it by love for us. He/it sees all our sins bound to this infamous wood. Veils the condemned very innocence therefore, replete of outrages, and the absolved sinner. Are not we going to rejoice us to get forgiveness at the expense of Jesus? Do we have to let it only to carry the cross? To God pleases! Rather sympathize to the Savior's sufferings. Let's load this holy cross on our shoulders. Let's implore Jesus to light in us an ardent desire to suffer, because, without the cross, no one arrives to the glory.

Third Station: Jesus falls for the first time

Jesus exhausted, overwhelmed of strokes, jostled, succumb under the burden of the cross. His/her/its injuries reopen themselves; his/her/its crown of thorn penetrates more and more. In this third stations, recognize it, sinners, that is your pride that reversed Jesus on the floor! Oh Jesus, grant us the grace of the humility. Open our eyes on our miseries to cry our sins, only reason of your falls.

Fourth Station: Jesus meets his Mother

In this meeting, Marie, hurried by the love, wants to kiss a last time his/her/its beloved Son. But the executioners repulse it. Does she/it deliver herself/itself then, entire to his/her/its pain "OH sinner, does say itself her, that I have you fact, that made you my innocent Jesus, to torment us so cruelly? Ah! Have piety of us, and rest, at the sight of our pains, to commit the sin". OH divine Son, oh holy Mother, victims of our sins, we come back to you with a contrite heart, Mercy, oh Jesus! Mercy, oh Mayor! Forgive us you to have offended.

Fifth Station: Simon helps Jesus to carry the cross.

Jesus, remote roughly of his/her/its Mother, sees his/her/its weakness growing. Him défaille to every step. The executioners, wanting, above all, to see it suspended to the cross, look for someone to help it to carry his/her/its heavy burden. What do I say? Christ himself prays you, my brothers, to relieve it a little. He/it shows you his/her/its wounds, his/her/its sweat, his/her/its exhaustion. What you will answer him?

Oh good Jesus! We would be well ungrateful to reject your call. How long didn't we carry the oppressive yoke of the sin, and would not we have courage to endure a few suffering for you? We understand it, oh Jesus, to go to the sky, the unique means it is to carry your cross

Sixth Station: A woman wipes Jesus' face.

As he/it is disfigured, the Savior's face yet so beautiful! See-of it him print on Véronique's veil. This gory forehead, crowned of thorns,; these livid eyes; these cheeks soiled by the spits and by blood; these wounds live returned it hardly recognizable, his/her/its beauty prevailed over the one of all men. "And there is it, told us the Isaïe prophet, without shape nor beauty,; " Who was therefore able well to disfigure it thus?

It is the sin. He/it erased in us the divine resemblance, let's ask therefore for forgiveness. Thus, by the repentance, in our soul, as on Véronique's veil, will reappear the Christ's picture.

Seventh Station: Jesus falls a second time.

The executioners treat Jesus, already s i weakened, with so much violence, that they make it roll ell on the floor second time. Ah! If we had been there to punish and to hunt these barbarians, would think ourselves. Rather turn our indignation against ourselves, because these are our sins, our pride, our obstinate love of the pleasures, that makes fall the Savior. The repentance in the soul, let's implore Jesus to grant us the complete forgiveness of our mistakes and the firm resolution to die a thousand times rather than to commit only one sin

Rather hear it to tell you: "Don't cry on me, but on you, because the misfortunes of the hell wait for you". doesn't have a middle therefore: or to convert you or your to damn. OH! Blissful the soul that, during this exercise of the Path of the Cross, will make an act sincere of contrition.

Abandon the trails of the sin, cry your misplacements, make penitence.

See, says Jesus, with what confusion, by love for you, I let myself to strip, to put to naked, and, the fleshes in shreds, to expose to the mockery of all! Look at me! Of the feet to the head, I am furrowed of injuries and covered of blood! For height of sufferings, one waters me bitter gall. Do I endure all in silence, and for whom? Do you therefore want to persevere in this sin, reason of my sufferings?

Oh Jesus, I don't want to harden in e pain, you horrible wounds teach me to hate vice. Forgiveness, oh good Jesus, make-me the grace to persevere in your love until the death.

Eleventh Station: Jesus is nailed to the cross

The executioners, as frantic, reverse the Savior on the cross, are armed of hammers, drive, in the hands and in the feet, of enormous nails, they clinch the tip of these nails then, to the wood of the cross. Contemplate Jesus nailed to the cross. He/it endures his/its injuries a lot; but his/her/its most atrocious torment, it is the toughness of your heart. Yet, Jesus only asks you for a tear to repent. What do you linger? Oh my God crucified, do transfix my heart of contrition, do penetrate it of your divine blood, and, forever, do convert it?

Twelfth Station: Jesus dies on the cross

The executioners raise the cross, of Jesus, and let it fall again in earth of all his/her/its weight. What horrible jolt for the Savior! His/her/its hands and his/her/its feet tear themselves, his/her/its nerves break, streams of blood spring of his/her/its wounds enlarged under the terrifying shock. But see like Jesus likes you. He/it forgives to his/its executioners, he/it opens the paradise to the thief, he/it confides his/its Mother to Jean saint, then, before returning the soul, he/it throws a last look toward the earth, to look for you, you sinner, and to tell you farewell!

Ah! Sinner, will you see Jesus killed like a vile animal, pierced of a spear like an assassin, and believe not in his/her/its love for us and of his/her/its forgiveness? Would draw ourselves all to die while hoping in Jesus' infinite mercy for us on the cross
